5 movies to look out for this October

Animation, chilling thrillers, sidesplitting comedy and superhero blockbusters  are the order of the day for the picks of selected movies for October. A lot to choose from this month and something to please all tastes!
Here are a selection of what this month has to offer to the avid movie goer!      


5. Loving Vincent
This highly original feature-length painted animation (the first film of its kind) explores the life and unusual death of Vincent Van Gogh via depictions of his artworks has been heralded by critics for it's visual beauty and ambition. With a cast that includes Chris O'Dowd and Saoirse Ronan this is one to keep a watchful eye out for this October.




4. The Lego Ninjago Movie
Another lego installment that stars Jackie Chan - What's not to love about that? This third edition of the franchise is sure to include the same sharp humour and animation that has made these films such box office hits. One for all the family to enjoy!




3.The Snowman
Tomas Alfredon directed feature based on the Jo Nesbo novel and starring the ever reliant Michael Fassbender there should be a lot to like about this crime thriller and one that should enjoy box office success.





2. The Death of Stalin
Arnando Iannucci is back with his latest comedic offering dealing with Stalin's last days and depicts the chaos of the regime after his death. A high quality cast that includes Jerrfrey Tambor, Jason Isaacs and Steve Buscemi this is surely one not to be missed for all fans of great comedy!



1.Thor:Ragnarok
Much previewed and following the usual fanfare this latest marvel feature sees Chris Hemsworth return to the role he has made his own. Expect much of the same with awesome effects and thrilling action sequences aplenty -  which is not a bad way to spend two hours or so in the cinema!
